The Gene Doyle Memorial Foundation was created to honor
the memory of Robert Eugene "Gene" Doyle, III (1976-1996)

Each year, the foundation awards the Gene Doyle Adventure Scholarships, which help deserving Collier County students to undertake the adventures of their dreams. Click for more information, including 2008 details and deadlines.

Adventure scholarships are supported by proceeds from the annual Gene Doyle Backcountry Release Fishing Tournament. This year's tournament was held May 2-4, 2008 in Naples, Florida.
