Simply put, it is the goal of the Gene Doyle Memorial Foundation to keep Gene's spirit alive by cultivating and supporting kindred spirits who share his love of life and nature. We believe that adventure travel provides unparalleled learning opportunities. Applicants may choose to pursue an adventure of their own design or join a structured trip offered by the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Outward Bound, or Alaska Mountaineering School.
