Gene Doyle Fishing Tournament
For 22 years the anglers and sponsors of the Gene Doyle Fishing Tournament have helped support the adventures of over 70 young people through the Gene Doyle Adventure Scholarships. Along the way we have had great fun and taken a lot of young people fishing with us. In 2005 we were interrupted by Hurricane Wilma and this year by COVID-19. But fishing is too important to all of us to let the virus knock us off of the water. The Gene Doyle Tournament Committee and the Gene Doyle Memorial Foundation want to say Thank You for your many years of support so the 23rd Tournament has no entry fee and will be unique as we all look for safe ways to do what we love. Here’s how you can participate.

The 23rd Annual Gene Doyle Backcountry Release Fishing Tournament scheduled for May 1, 2 & 3, 2020 has been canceled based on CDC and local government guidance. Please check back for rescheduling information.
